Station Park Wedding In Wanaka
The weather, even though the Aussies didnt think so, was fine and warm for the wedding of Mel and Tom. The day started early with the gilrs all having their hair and makup done in their accommodation. The ceremony was held in Wanaka station park and although there was a huge wind blowing off the lake it was really sheltered in the trees for the ceremony.

After the ceremony we spent the afternoon dodging the wind and visiting several of our favourite locations.

After the formal photos we went to the reception which was being held at the Albert Town Tavern. We were really impressed with the way the Reception room was set up. It looked fantastic .It was yet another day of fun and laughs with Mel and Tom, their Bridesmaids and Groomsmen and the drivers.
Pleasant Surprise
During any given wedding season we really do meet the most wonderful people. We have said before that this isnt just a job to us...but a passion and we really love working with our couples and the bridal parties big and small. We so often form long lasting relashionships with them and go to take photos of their children as they grow up. Today was a first for us. We were delivered the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from a couple whos wedding we did a couple of weeks back. Minty and Robs wedding was in the park and it was one of those special ones. We loved every minute of it . Thanks to you both for your kind words. It means a lot.
Jan, Wayne Lisa and Jeremy

Here are a couple more photos from Rob and Minty's wedding day.

Wanaka Wedding in the Trees
Friday was a great day for Tori and Jeremy's wedding. The girls got ready in Wanaka. We spent a fun morning with the them while they got themselves ready for the big day. The girls did the majority of their hair and makeup themselves and they did a great job. Jeremy and Tori wanted to do their photos before their ceremony. We spent time by the lake, in the trees and at a couple of our favourite photo locations.

It was a fantastic wedding. The ceremony was held in the trees up the Cardrona Valley and was conducted by Bev Clark. It was just a beautiful day from start to finish.
Stoneridge Estate Wedding Queenstown
This was a wedding with a difference. The little flower girls charmed eveyone with their scattering of the flowers and their beautiful singing during the signing. Theresa and Erik held their wedding and reception at the Stoneridge Estate. Our day started with a visit to the Rydges in Queenstown. Theresa along with her bridemaids ,four flowergirls and a ring bearer. It was a busy room for sure. The ceremony was conducted outside the chapel at Stoneridge by Father Tony from Queenstown. After we took all the family photos , we spent a couple of hours taking the wedding party photos before going back to the reception area at Stoneridge.

We got to spend several hours at the recpeption, capturing the singing, dancing, speeches and toasts. Did they know how to celebrate.
Thankyou
Hi Wayne & Jan Wow!! Just wanted to say a big thank you to you both for being apart of our special day. We loved your enthusiasm, sense of humor and professionalism! I would highly recommend you both, as you work so well together.
Once again thank you!

Brides Letter
From the moment we got in touch with you, you both put us at ease. The complimentary engagement shoot really helped relax us in front of the camera. On our big day you both set the tone for a fun and laugh filled photo shoot from the offset. We had our photos done before the ceremony which I recommend because we were walking on sunshine by the time we arrived at the church. Your approach was very natural, there wasn’t a lot of positioning or directing, which has resulted in us all looking at ease and comfortable, no stiff or forced looking smiles. On several occasions you went out of your way to help us, collecting and delivering our flowers etc, and even posting our photos to Australia. Thank you Jan and Wayne for being a special part of our day!”

Mt Cook Testimonial
Hello Jan and Wayne,I'm Becca's mom and want to tell you that the 60 gallery photos you sent to the kids are absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for capturing the happiness and beauty of that day for all of us. And also, for making it so much fun. Becca and Ben still talk about what a joy you both were to share that time with. Is it still possible for me to order another album for Becca's grandparents? Kind Regards Diana Albright.

Thanks Dianna It was a special day
Queenstown Mountain Wedding
This was another wedding for the Ultimate NZ Wedding company. Christene offers a huge range of services and wedding packages for overseas couples. Elle and Jason had based themselves at the Hilton Hotel Queenstown for what was going to be a very busy day. Elle had prayed for snow for her mountain wedding and she got her wish. Sarah from Absolutely Fabulous Hair and Renee Little makeup artist took care of Elle and Jason with their preparations. After a morning at the Hilton we travelled with Black Limos to the Helecoptor line for our flight into the mountains. After the ceremony we took lots of photos with the couple by the lake and in the snow.

When we arrived back in Queenstown we spent time in the Gardens and around the lakefront for more photos

We had a great time with Jason and Elle. Cant wait to process the video and photo images.
Central Otago Wedding
Rebecca and Thomas's day started early with Rebecca and the girls getting hair and makeup done at Olivers in Clyde and the boys at Thomas's parents home in Clyde. We visited the boys first while they played a bit of soccer and had some fun with us on the street. The girls had their hair and makeup done by Alice and Gemma. Olivers is a great facility currently undergoing restoration but offering some lovely themed rooms that suited the girls perfectly .

The couple were married in the St Dunstan Church in Clyde.

We took our formal photos in and around Clyde and Cromwell . The rain started as we began shooting in Clyde so we took shelter under the verandah of on of the old buidings. The rain follwed us around for the afternoon but between showers we took some lovely and very funny photos before we went back to Northburn Station for all the family photos.

Jan and Wayne really enjoyed being with a group of people who really enjoyed the photo shoot despite the weather.
Snow Wedding at Mt Cook
It was a very special day for Andrea and John. They took their family, Luke, Ben and Dennie to Mt Cook to stay at the Hermitage for a "Holiday". What the boys didnt know was that the site seeing trip up to the Tasman Glacier with Mt Cook SkiPlanes was going to inlcude a wedding ceremony. Lisa and Jeremy did this one and had a very funny time with the family. Here are some images from Andrea and Johns Wedding day.

The photos from your big day look great . The team will start to do the processing soon. Congratulations from the team at Aspiring Photography
Wanaka Wedding in the park
Minty and Rob chose to have their wedding in Wanaka because they have spent a lot of time here in the past. The ceremony was held in Wanaka Station park with Jools MacKnight conducting a beautiful ceremony.

We took some formal photos in the park before going down to the lakefront.

We also flew up to Mt Roy with Aspiring Helicopters

It was another day full of laughs and fun. Thank you both for allowing us to be part of your special day.
Queenstown Wedding
Lisa and Jeremy travelled to Queenstown for the wedding of Diana and Kevin. After the trip on the TSS Earnslaw with the guests and the boys, we all arrived at Walter Peak Station for a lovely garden ceremony that was conducted by Marion Patton . After the ceremony we spent time taking formal shots around the gardens and woolshed and down on the lake front.

The whole group were so much fun to work with. We all had a fantastic time. It was great being part of their wedding day
Wanaka Wedding
We spent our Friday with Teresa and Eamon on their wedding day. Thersa's day started at Alices where she and Bridesmaid Christina had hair and makeup done. We also spent time with Eamon and Claude before we headed to Edgewater for the ceremony. Jools Macknight was the cerebrant and she (as she always does) did a fantastic job of the ceremony. Its is always great to hear all the wedding guests comments enjoying the ceremony out on Edgewaters front lawn with the views.

After the ceremony went to one of our favourite farm locations and also to the lakefront, wharf and Edgewter grounds for more photos.

We are so lucky being able to work with wonderful people like Teresa and Eamon. Thank you both for letting us be part of your special day.
Mt Cook Wedding
After we had a few days off and New Years eve at Mt Cook, we had the pleasure of spending most of the day yesterday with Jess and Kevin on their wedding day. They booked their wedding package through The Hermitage . Their ceremony was held at the top of the glacier. Our stay there was short lived though, just when we started to take photos after the ceremony , the fog rolled on and we made a rapid retreat back down to a lower level.

We flew with Mt Cook Ski Planes with Mark our pilot. Once we arrived back at the airport we travelled to some of our favourite locations for more photos with a fun couple.

We had a day full of laughs. It was great to be part of your day Jess and Kevin. We cant wait to start going through your photos and the video.
Wanaka Wedding Glendhu Bay
Anne and Phil had their wedding ceremony beside the pond at the Glendhu Station wedding Venue. The day started off looking really miserable and cool but by around half an hour before the ceremony the sun was shining and all was set for a fantastic day.

Carter found the golf ball more interesting than handing over the rings

After the ceremony we took photos down by the lake and then around the beautiful grounds of the Glenhu Station venue. We then flew with Wanaka Helicopters to the top of Mt Roy.

We really enjoyed capturing some of the fun the children had and we had a great day with Anne and Phil. Thanks guys for letting us be part of your day
Family Portraits
December has been a huge month for Wanaka's leading photography company, Aspiring Photography. Apart from the normal run of weddings and pre wedding photo shoots, we have done so many family portrait sittings. We love them. We love working with the children and we have so much fun with their parents. As we have said before we are the only photography company that completes the entire process from the photo sitting to processing, printing, and framing. It is really nice to see Mum and Dads face when they pick up their photos. If you have family up for Christmas and would like to get family portraits done while you are all together, we have all our photographers on duty and we can help. Here are some of our favourites images

Lookout Lodge Wedding
We did a fantastic wedding back near the begining of December at the Lookout Lodge .Dave married his beautiful Bride Cathy in a lovely ceremony that was conducted by Bev Clark . There was something very special about the mountains, the cloudy conditions and the Bagpipes. It was great.

We spent ages with the small family group takng lots of family photos. Their families had travelled a long way to be with the couple on their special day. After lots of fun with the family, we went to Wanaka Station park from some photos . Thank you Cath and Dave for allowing us to be part of your day. It was special.

Tekapo / Mt Cook Wedding
What a fun day we had with Bec and Ben. They booked their wedding through The Hermitage at Mt Cook.. Because we have an ongoing contract with The Hermitage to supply all their photography, we are always up ther and everytime we go though, it is always different. The light yesterday was fantastic. Ben and Bec had their ceremony at a place called "The Rest" (long story) but it is a small area close to pine trees and down by the lake. After the ceremony we took family and some formal photos there before heading back to Mt Cook for some more photos around the village. Next it was off to Mt Cook airport for a flight to the Tasman glacier. We flew with Mark from Mt Cook Skiplanes. He gave us the million dollar trip to the glacier with some great site seeing. After the photos in the snow we travelled back to the airport to say our goodbyes. It always amazes us how close a friendship you form with people in such a short time. We had the best day and it was thanks to Ben and Bec and their families for helping make it that way. Thanks guys. Hope you enjoy Christmas in Te Anau.
