Queenstown Wedding
Well what a day. Carly and Sam and Carly's Mum and sister Brit, and that was it. It was a wonderful romantic day. The Ceremony was held at Stoneridge Estate at Lake Hayes in Queenstown. We spent a couple of hours there taking photos, and then it was on with the snow boots and away up to Coronet Peak for some photos in the snow. Carly and Sam are both passionate skiers and the snow photos were so much fun. In fact the whole day was so much fun. Thankyou Carly and Sam. Jan Lisa and I wish you both all the very best for a long and happy future together, and thank you for such a rewarding day.
Queenstown Wedding
We have a busy week coming up. Today we are away at Stoneridge Estate for a small winter wedding. Our Bride and Groom want their photos in the snow so we are going up to the Coronet Ski Field for the images. I'll post some tomorrow. Next week we have two weddings. On Thursday we are off to Queenstown again. Our Bride is getting married in the Queenstown gardens. Photos are to be on the remarkables. A couple of helicoptors will take us up after the ceremony. We are also going to Arrowtown and up to the Skyline where they are holding their reception. Then on Friday another mountain ceremony. Our couple are getting married on Mt Roy (weather permitting) . Then back down to Wanaka for the all important Lake shots. Will put photos up as we get them processed.

Commercial Photography Wanaka
Last week we started a shoot with Duncan from Tallon Marine. Tallon is a range of products that fit in your Boat or Truck and allow you to interchange a huge number of accesories that simply make life easier. The Tallon range was invented by Wanaka man Peter Marshall. We love it so much we had them fitted to our truck. It keeps all our heavy cases and stands in one place when we head off for photo shoots out of town. Saves lots of damage to our gear and the truck. Have a look at their Web site. We have done almost all of their photography for their website and brochures. This week we will finish the shoot with some lake shots of Duncan in his canoe showing off the latest in canoe attachments.
Stoneridge Estate Wedding
This week we have another "Lets elope" wedding. We are away to Queenstown for a wedding on Thursday. The wedding is being held at the beautiful Stoneridge Estate. We have done a few wedding there before and its great. There are so many photo oportunities. You dont really need to go anywhere else. Pictue Framing in Wanaka
While we are talking about images and pictures, the latest stock from our new frame supplier has arrived and is very impressive. If you want to freshen up some of those old photos and paintings around your home bring them in and let us show you how much we can change the look of the image with new frames and matt boards and a clean up of the glass. Canvas Prints
We have sourced a range of canvas sheets for Photo image printing. We purchased the final batches from a wholesaler who was clearing all his stock. This is really nice canvas and combined with the print quality of our latest Epson 7900 the end result is amazing. If you have images on file bring them in on a memory stick or flash drive, let us set them up on our calibrated monitors and if you tell us you read about this on our blog I'll give you 20% off the normal rate card price. Sizes available A3 and A4.
Photo Books
Photo books have always been a big part of our business . We have always produced Photo books as part of most of our wedding packages, but now we are producing books for families from portrait sittings we do, and also from many of the old family photos we scan and restore. Our books are printed and bound on site using a hot bind glue machine, and are put together using the best and latest high resolution software. You have the choice of letting us do all the work, or we can put the book together publish it on our website with a password, where you can veiw the pages and make changes. We offer a choice of book covers from genuine Leather (Imported) to Leatherette in several colours and sizes. Lonestar Wanaka
We have been working with Patrick (Host of the year) and the team from Lonestar in Wanaka. They are putting a brochure together to promote the conference rooms. The Lonestar is a great place to go and visit and for us is always a challenge with the low light but the shots look great. Thanks Patrick for all your help during the shoot.
Queenstown Weddings
We have had a wonderful response to our "Lets Elope" Winter wedding package. We have a couple coming over from Australia getting married at Stoneridge Estate at Lake Hayes in Queenstown and another small intimate Queenstown Wedding which they are planning to hold in the Queenstown Gardens (hope the weather holds). Both couples are really keen to get some snow shots. Our wedding season this year is starting a lot earlier than last year with us getting underway late September. A lot of people are getting married from then right through to Feb/March. We have noticed that there are lots of people coming in from overseas to tie the knot. Heres some shots from the last wedding we did at Stoneridge Estate in Queenstown.
Wyndham Resort Opening
We were employed by the Wyndham Resort to take photos of their opening night. We have done a lot of work at Wyndham during the building process and now its finished , what a resort. Wyndham spent 22 million on the expansion and it is awesome. From the Presidential Suite right through to the new Reception area and down stairs bar. All of the guests had a great night. Congratulations management and staff of the Wyndham.
Mayor Clive Geddes officially opened the complex and there were presentations to the NZ Ski team. Well done to Owen Wright who won a week in a Wyndham Resort.
