Invercargill Wedding Show
What a great day. Congratulations to Sandy and Rob from Elegant Weddings. The whole day was so well organised. We had a very good day and again met many new Brides and their Mums.
The day was held at the Ascot Park Hotel. Great facilties and brilliant staff. This week we have several commercial jobs to complete and of course the follow ups from the wedding show. Thanks to everyone who came to visit us. We will be in touch soon.
Commercial Assignments
We are busy with a lot of commercial jobs at the moment. Last night we spent the night (not all of it) at the Lonestar in Wanaka. We had two things to do. One was the staff awards for Wanaka Mitre 10. What a great crew. It was really interesting to find out how long some of the staff members have been with them. Says a lot for the managment team. Patrick also wanted shots for a brochure that the Lonestar is putting together. Its a great place with a great atmosphere. We will finish the job after Queens birthday weekend.
Invercargill Wedding Show
This weekend we are at the Elegant wedding show down in the deep south in Invercargill. Jan Lisa and I are looking forward to meeting lots of people and giving away our now famous compact mirrows. We have a lot of enquiries from down south and this weekend we are catching up with some of our new brides. Make sure if you are going to the show you come and say hi.
Dunedin Wedding Photography
Following up from a succesful Wanaka Wedding Show we went to Dunedin this weekend to follow up with two Brides and Grooms. It was great to be able to help picking photo venues for their wedding days. October, November and December this year are proving very popular for weddings unlike last year, so if you are planning your wedding towards the end of this year and you want us to be part of your big day you need to get in touch to secure your day. Bookings for next year are also up on last year. Wanaka once again is proving to be the No1 destination for weddings.
Contest Winner
We had a prize draw for a Portrait Package that was up for grabs at the recent Wanaka Wedding show. Everyone who visited us was able to enter the draw....and the winner is Emma Dixon. We have contacted Emma and she was very excited. We will do it all again at Invercargill
Wedding at the Venue
Last weekend we had a great day with Erick and Christy on their special day. They had their ceremony at The Venue, the celebrant was Bev Clark . After the official part we took off to a special place for both Erick and Christy for some lovely photos. It was a great day. I must say what a great job they do at The Venue. Great food, great service and wonderful staff. It was a wonderful day
Invercargill Wedding Show
We are looking forward to the Elegant wedding show in Invercargill in a couple of weeks. Lots of brides from down south have chosen weddings next season in the Wanaka area and apart from meeting with new couples, the wedding show will also give us a change to meet with brides that have already been in touch with us. We will also have our Winter wedding package available for winter wedding couples.
Winter Wedding Package
We have put up a special Winter wedding deal for June July and August and we have had a surprising no of enquiries. A number of couples mainly from Australia are looking at coming over and doing the Ski and Wedding thing.. Very shortly we are releasing an all up deal which includes accomodation at the fabulous Edgewater on the lakefront staying in a one bedroom apartment for two nights, the Celebrant for the ceremony and a photography session with Aspiring Photography.

Invercargill Wedding Show
We are all booked in for the Elegant Wedding show at the end of the month. We've got some great promotional ideas for that one. If you live down south and you are attending the show make sure you come and introduce yourself us.
Another Wanaka Wedding
This weekend we have a Wedding at The Venue. Its a Sunday Wedding with a smaller party which is always nice for a change. There are always some really nice photo ops at this time of the year with the trees in full Autumn colour. The venue is always a great place to take wedding photos and because the old weather can be a bit indifferant at the moment, its nice having the added benefit of being able to hold your wedding indoors or out. We will put up pics next week.
New CD / DVD Printer
We do a lot of CD and DVD duplication and this week we took delivery of our new DVD label printer. We use Aqua Shield glossy discs that have a great smooth shiny surface. The Bravo prints directly on to the disc and the result is a very detailed image in full color at a affordable cost per disc. We can now print up to 100 at a time. We then put them all through the duplicator that copies whatever images, data or information we want on to the discs at very high speed. We do a lot copying work for companies and groups for presentation purposes.
Wedding Show
The Elegant Wedding Show is coming to Wanaka Sunday 9th May. All three of us will be there. Came and visit our stand and collect your free Compact Mirror.
