Queenstown Lake Hayes Wedding
Friday we travelled to Queenstwon to take photos of the Wedding of Anneliese and Dennis . The venue was Stoneridge Estate. What a great day . Stoneridge is just fabulous and the opportunities for photography are hard to beat. We spent most of our time at the Estate, but Dennis was keen for the mountains so we headed up to the Skippers for some mountain and tussock shots. It was great day. Thanks to every one at Stoneridge who were so helpful. The celebrant was Philipa Cook
Family Portraits Lake Wanaka
Jan and I spent a couple of hours with the Allison family and their extended family. We took the photos against the backdrop of both the Lake and the beautiful Autumn colours around the Lake. At the end of the session we had eight young children sitting on a log by the Lake. They were all wonderful and we had a fun time with them. We had a quick look through the photos and we cant wait to get them processed.
Dunedin Weddings
Lots of enquieries coming in for Dunedin Weddings at the end of this year and in the first three months of next year. We have taken photos at a lot of weddings in Dunedin. Lake Hayes Wedding
This weekend we are really looking forward to another wedding at Lake Hayes at Stoneridge Estate. It is simply beautiful and it will be the first time in Queenstown for the groom. We will post photos next week
Wanaka Family Portraits
We have all been busy the last few weeks taking family portraits. Its great to see that lots of families are making sure that they get family photos before the kids get too old. Hawea Lakeside Wedding
When we went to the rehearsal the day before it was really windy at the site that Fiona and Glen had chosen to be married, but on the day it was beautiful. Glen and Fiona were married at St Johns creek past the Lake Hawea township. Bev Clark was the celebrant. The photo shoot was held up near Timaru Creek and on farmland belonging to friends of Glens. It was a fabulous day and again a lot of laughs. Glen and Fiona held their reception at the Lake Wanaka Centre.
Stewart Island
We decided some time ago to keep the Easter break free from all engagments. We sell lots of our images to clients and it was time for a stock up. We headed to Stewart Island to get some new photos. While Jan concentrated on the beautiful scenery (images to come)
I decided to get some wildlife photos using my new 400mm Nikon lens. I got some great shots of the "Buller Mollyhawks" a relation of the Albatross (According to local info) A great weekend and some fabulous images.
